Earlier in July 2025, we marked Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week – a time to raise awareness, encourage action, and stand together against anti-social behaviour in our communities.
One of the most common concerns reported to us is noise nuisance. If you're experiencing this or want to better understand your rights, we recommend watching some of the helpful sessions hosted by Four Million Homes.
Additionally, you can find out more about reporting ASB and noise nuisance via our blog.
Here at BCHG, we’re committed to tackling ASB in all its forms. What we’ve been doing:
- A police walkabout at Siviter Court, Blackheath, focusing on estate security. We’ve since held a tenancy meeting with residents and are working on improvements to safety.
- A joint estate walkabout at our properties in Darlaston with Walsall Council, where we looked into fly-tipping issues. Thanks to this partnership, steps are being taken to install additional CCTV and secure bin areas more effectively.
- Darby Street and Peckover Close an Sturman Drive - we held a litter pick with Litter Watch
- Wellington, Highgate, Jennings and Waggon Street - Estate walkabout with Sharon Lang from Highways and Stacey Adams Sandwell from the ASB Team.
- Windmill Lane / Walter Burden estate walkabout, also attended by Stop Loan Sharks
- The Mews - ASB awareness meeting with the local PCSO
- Moat Farm - PCSO walkabout
- Bridgewater Avenue - PCSO walkabout
Together with our partners and residents, we’re building stronger, safer communities. If you’ve been affected by ASB or want to get involved in improving your area, please contact us. You can find further information via our ASB page.
