Amanda Tomlinson, BCHG’s Chief Executive since 2013, has announced her intention to retire at the end of April 2025. Amanda has worked in the social housing sector for around 30 years, moving from her role as a CIPFA qualified accountant through to Finance Director, before taking on senior Executive roles within Bromford Group and BCHG since 2010.
Amanda said, “Working in social housing is an immense privilege, and my colleagues at BCHG have made my role as CEO hugely enjoyable. BCHG is a special organisation and I will be sad to leave, however my ever-expanding family needs me now. BCHG has an amazing Board and senior leadership team who will continue to set the bar high for our customers.”
She added that she will still retain a number of non-executive roles in the charity and education sectors.
Sinéad Butters, BCHG Board Chair stated, “Amanda has led BCHG to an excellent position in her 14 years with the company, with high regulatory ratings and a strong people first culture. She will leave a legacy that will last long after she has departed – an indelible impact of high standards, professionalism and kindness.”
