What We Do
Black Country Housing Group is a social business investing in people and communities. For over 40 years we have been providing affordable and comfortable homes across the Black Country and Birmingham.
Now with over 2,100 homes and over 275 employees, we deliver a range of services for people of all ages across the Black Country and Birmingham. We’re passionate about helping people to live healthy, happy lives and about creating opportunities for local people.
We are a well-run not-for-profit organisation, generating surpluses to invest into creating social value and having a wide ranging positive social impact on our residents, customers, colleagues and local communities.
To make sure we are able to provide the best service and improve the lives of people living within our local communities, we often work with a range of organisations such as other housing associations, local councils, health and wellbeing professionals and schools and colleges.
We work with both our residents and those living in the communities in which we operate to offer a holistic approach to housing.
We currently offer services that help people with employment and training, fuel poverty, financial exclusion, housing options and benefits advice, health and wellbeing and helping vulnerable and older people to retain their independence at home.
Our Home Improvement Agency Black Country Homeforce has been assisting people to remain in their own home for 25 years.
Black Country Care provides domiciliary care and supported living services to vulnerable adults.
